Home/Dispute Resolution
When Something's Off

A fair, evidence-based process — closed in 48 hours on average.

Either party can open a dispute if a deal doesn't go as agreed. Funds stay frozen in escrow until it's resolved.

The Process

How a dispute gets resolved

1. Open the dispute

From the deal page, either party flags an issue before the inspection window closes and funds stay locked in escrow.

2. Submit your evidence

Photos, messages, tracking numbers, proof of delivery — anything relevant to what happened.

3. Specialist review

A resolution specialist reviews both accounts and may reach out to either party for clarification.

4. Decision & payout

Funds are released, refunded, or split according to the outcome — typically within 48 hours of opening.

5. Written explanation

Both sides get a written summary of the decision and the reasoning behind it.

6. Escalation option

If you disagree with the outcome, you can request a second review with additional evidence.

What Helps Your Case

Evidence that actually moves a decision

Disputes are decided on documentation, not who wrote the longer message. This is what resolution specialists weigh most.

  • 1

    Photos and videos

Timestamped where possible, showing the item's actual condition on arrival.

  • 2

    Delivery & tracking records

Carrier tracking, signature confirmation, or service completion logs.

  • 3

    In-app messages

Conversation history between buyer and seller about the deal terms.
