How we keep your deals and data safe.

Escrow only works if people trust the platform holding their money. Here's what's behind that trust.

Our Approach

Security, by layer

Encryption everywhere

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Payment details are handled by PCI-compliant partners, never stored in full on our servers.

Identity verification

Sellers on higher-value deals go through identity checks to reduce fraud and impersonation on the platform.

Account protection

Two-factor authentication, device alerts, and session monitoring help keep your account yours.

Segregated escrow funds

Funds in escrow are held in segregated accounts, kept separate from MySecureDeal's own operating funds.

Fraud monitoring

Automated systems flag unusual deal patterns for review by our trust & safety team before funds move.

Independent audits

Our systems and controls are reviewed by independent third parties on a regular schedule.

Questions

Security FAQ

Can a seller see my bank or card details?

No. Buyers pay MySecureDeal directly; sellers only see that a deal is funded, never your payment method.

Where are escrowed funds actually held?

In segregated accounts kept separate from MySecureDeal's operating funds, through our banking partners.

Do you support two-factor authentication?

Yes — we recommend enabling it from your account security settings.
